Pistol Barrels

Pistols for hunting and competition are more popular than ever. We are working in conjunction with companies that specialize in break open and bolt action pistols to offer our customers and theirs, a quality barrel for your pistol that you can afford. For those who want a cartridge that we do not currently chamber for, there will be a reamer rental fee of $55.00 per chamber. If you have a reamer, please send and we will use yours.

XP100

The XP100 was introduced by Remington in 1963. This was the beginning of the modern era of high velocity, high performance pistols.

Savage Striker

The Savage Striker series of handguns were introduced by Savage in 1998 with the centerfire versions being built on modified 110 actions and the rimfire versions built on a modified M-93 action. It is one of the few pistols that are built on the "left hand bolt, right hand ejection" for right handed shooters who wanted to keep their strong hand on the gun while cycling the bolt.

Thompson Contender

Introduced by Thompson Center Arms in 1967. The Contender was built to compete with Remingtons XP100. It is larger than the XP100 and is available from the factory in cartridges from the 17 Mach II up to the 45-70. It was built as a break open action that allowed the shooter to change his/her barrel in minutes.

Thompson Encore

The Encore was released by Thompson Center Arms in the late 1990's. It was built as an upgrade to the Contender with a different trigger, and stronger than the Contender. It is available in cartridges from the 22 K-Hornet up to 416 Rigby, even shotgun and muzzle loader versions.

Our standard barrels consist of a barrel up to 17" in length, it is threaded (where needed), and crowned. We can also chamber the barrel for you if you would like. If your barrel requires a lug to be attached to the barrel, we work closely with a few companies that offer this service.

We can also install a muzzle brake on your barrel. Final fitting will be required to ensure that the muzzle brake lines up properly in conjunction with your action. See our muzzle brakes HERE
